Our Cottages are perfectly situated for discovering North Yorkshire's many underrated charms.

Castle Howard - featured in "Brideshead Revisited" - is only 3 miles away, York only 14 miles and pretty Hovingham only a few minutes' drive.

To the North lies the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Here the beauty of unspoilt moorland and rich pastures patchworked with dry stone walls are perfect for either touring by car or by walking and hiking.

As a fascinating contrast, visit the east of the area with its quaint fishing villages, spectacular cliffs and coastal scenery, beautiful beaches and lively seaside resorts of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington and the picturesque fishing town of Whitby.
